Overall Good Property

Although there was some construction going on close to the house, this was a pleasant place to stay. The property was clean, check in and check out were a breeze, and the owner communicated thoroughly. The only feedback I have for improvement is the first floor master bathroom door doesn’t seem to fit correctly and caused some pretty crazy noises during the night that disturbed our infant because it didn’t fit on the track correctly.

We were worried about the kitchen being too small because of the photos but we had plenty of room to cook Thanksgiving dinner for our family of 7. We enjoyed this place and not far from all the restaurants and shops❤️

Great location!

Beautiful little cabin tucked away from tourism, but close enough for anything you need or want to do. Short drive to Pigeon Forge & Gatlinburg, but they're also easily avoided if you want quiet. Bedrooms are spacious and comfortable, and we all (three couples and two teenagers) really appreciated having our own bathrooms. Kitchen has everything you need if you cook, but it IS on the small side. The living room is small, too, so keep that in mind if you have 6-8 adults and weather not conducive to hanging out on the porches - and there are many porches to choose from! One thing to be aware of if you have mobility issues or older/elderly in your group: parking is on a serious incline. It was challenging to get out of the cars a couple of times. Overall a great stay, and Matthew is an excellent host. We would stay here again!

I had my elderly sister with me and she had a difficult time with the front steps and low toilets with no grab bars. Would not recommend for people with mobility issues. No kitchen storage for dry goods and lower bedroom door to deck stuck on carpet.very hard to open.

The property and neighborhood were very quiet. The teenage boys loved playing NBA Jam. Less than five minutes from Soaky Mountain water park—a last minute decision for us to visit, but we LOVED that excursion. Easy to get to grocery store, etc. for supplies.

Nice cabin in the woods almost to itself. It was nice to get away from the busyness of town to quiet of the neighborhood. We liked having so many bathrooms one for each room. The hot tub was enjoyable in the evenings.

Everything was excellent! Cabin was extremely clean and well taken care of. Host is easy to communicate with and the amenities at the cabin were perfect for our stay. Check in was flawless. Beautiful furnished deck areas to relax after a day of exploring the area. The hot tub was VERY clean. Nice and quiet location minutes away from all the attractions. Would definitely stay here again!

Great location!!!!

The Lazy Moose is pleasantly located just outside of Pigeon Forge and not too far from Gatlinburg! It is just off the main road heading towards Pigeon Forge in a quiet and secluded area. Very clean and owners are very accommodating! Would definitely stay here again!
