Owner and staff are weird

The good: The beds in our room were wonderful and shower was good. The bad: The staff is very odd. I believe they are all related. The maids were staring at us for a long time and made us feel uncomfortable in the lobby. We were greeted after 15 minutes by a wierd younger man with big earring holes. My name was a nickname in the system. I have never had any issues this, that name is on everything I use my card for. I have never been able to figure out how to change it. I showed him my driver's license, and I tried to show him my medical insurance card. I verified my phone number. He kept rambling on and on about it, it was disrespectful. The owner told us she follows "the rules" and it has to be my legal name. She was condescending. The wierd part is, my room was already paid for. The $ was taken out before my stay. I was obviously who I said I was by everything I verified. We decided to go to the pool after all these encounters. We got in the pool and the water was FILTHY. The bottom was so dirty it was brown. So my question owner if you "follow the rules" why was the pool so nasty? You seem to follow your own set of rules. We just used this place to sleep and shower. We tried to find another place to stay in the area but there is not much. Close to a casino and Montezuma Castle. Just sleep here, and don't expect anything else. Breakfast is not good. COFFEE WAS NASTY! The owner needs to read the directions on how to make coffee.

Comfortable stay

Comfortable bed and reasonable price. Good location for the Verdi train, Red Rock State Park and Chapel of the Holy Cross. Breakfast was lackluster but many restaurant choices within walking distance.

I cannot recommend this enough- not only was the room clean and immaculate. But the personal service to customers! The staff went out of their way to not only assist me and my family with accommodations, but also helped us directly with car rental assistance and even transportation! This place has a family heart and soul, while sitting next to restaurants and gas stations and all other needs. This place made me gain hope in humanity. 10 stars and beyond!
