Perfect Location from Sedona

Convenient location to visit family who live in Camp Verde Arizona. Easy access to Hwy 17 and 30 minutes to Sedona Arizona.

More like a Motel 6- I don’t recommend

I saw this place had fairly good reviews online so I booked. However, the name The Copper Hotel is misleading because this is a motel , definitely not a hotel. It’s more like a motel six. The room was super small, the walls are like tissue paper, you can hear everybody else in the hotel. It’s weird that the sink was in the bedroom, outside of the bathroom. Also, we put the maid service door hanger on our door, and nobody came and cleaned our room or refreshed our linens. We had to just go to the front and ask for more towels. Definitely will not be going back.

There was a gap under the door and the sound from the hall and lobby came under the door into room 103 and woke me several times during the night. Also, the bed was very firm. Everything else was good. Good location and good value.

Our first issue was in finding the place. The name "The Copper Hotel" is no where to be seen from the road due to the rebranding of "Surestay". The room was nice enough, but our refrigerator was really noisy - a buzzing/rattling would some on intermittently. It was loud enough to need to keep adjusting the TV volume when it would start up. The next disappointment was the so-called "breakfast". "coffee" might be a better description. I think there may have been like 2 small rolls left by the time I came out.

Nice hotel

The renovated rooms are very nice. It’s too bad the bathroom wasn’t included. The toilet and shower use way too much water. The shower head is too big for the small tub and sprays onto the floor. The owner/ management should to take pool off their amenities if it isn’t going to be fixed. Overall, it’s a nice hotel that lets pets stay for a extra fee. We were especially please with that part.
