Above and beyond

Having experienced allergy symptoms from the pet friendly room, the management graciously offered a refund. The room we initially reserved was pet free on the third floor but was changed when we arrived. The refund reflected the professional and caring approach that the staff has toward its guests. We will continue to stay at High Tide Inn in the future and will recommend them to anyone travelling that way.

Great location!

We enjoyed our stay here. We got an oceanfront room on the top floor. It was very specious and also had a fireplace and small kitchenette. We only stayed for one night passing through Seaside, but it was a wonderful experience staying here. Location is amazing, close to the shops and restaurants. And of course, the ocean! I would definitely stay here again. Thank you to the receptionist who treated us so nice.

So great to have easy access to the big beautiful beach. We walked a lot. The property accepts pets, and the room was carpeted, so not surprising that there was a certain scent in the room. But the bed was comfortable and clean and the breakfast bar had a nice variety.

Pros:Great staff, wonderful view and very clean. And it's pet friendly 🐕 Cons:Doors have huge gaps, some towels ragged, bed side light would not stay on and large gaps under partitions on decks where dogs can get through to neighbor units. Will I stay here again. Yes. But this property really needs some TLC.

We stayed here last year and loved our stay, which was why we were willing to pay the price this year- in the off season, however our room had an odd lingering urine like odor that seemed to be coming from the beds, although the bedding was clean and did not smell. Also our lock inside the room was broken from what appears to have been someone forcing their way into the room previously- we have always felt safe and secure so not worried about that, but this did leave a less than desirable impression. We also had to deal with extremely yapping dogs all evening the last night of our stay next door to us. That was also a first. Overall stay was not a good one compared to our last.
