Beautiful property with a great view. The home was great and just what we needed for our weekend stay with our friends. Unfortunately, the main reason why this house came across our search was because of the pool and hot tub, but we were not able to use it. The first morning we pulled the pool cover back, the water level was only maybe 3/4 full and it had a dead mouse floating on top. We scooped the mouse out but our party definitely didn’t want to get in after that. The water level also just didn’t look right. I took pictures and messaged the host. They responded after we had left for the day, only to say that they’re sorry and asked if I would put the hose in the pool since the pool guy didn’t work on weekends (our stay was Friday evening-Monday morning). By the time we got back, the pool was only 1/2 full. I put the hose in and we decided to at least use the hot tub. It started at 98 degrees but never got hotter (about an hour later it had actually gone down to 96). After we left, I messaged the host again letting them know about our concerns over our stay and asked if there could be any sort of compensation since we didn’t get what we thought we were paying for (not a cheap stay by any means). They responded saying it would be reviewed and they’d get back to me. I followed up about 10 days later, still no response. We understand not every house will be perfect, but not getting what we paid for and the host not doing anything to help, unfortunately soured our stay here
