We had an amazing stay at the Wine Valley Inn. It is in a great location to walk all around downtown Solvang easily. The staff was kind and helpful and there is even wine offered in the evenings. Clean, beautiful room.

The roses around the grounds of this hotel are stunning in April/May. My room, on the ground floor, was okay. Some issues and recommendations: Ground floor rooms should have split shutters or top down blinds. Privacy while allowing the sun in would be nice. Please provide some gluten free snacks as part of your honor bar. The easiest thing to change out would be the pretzels. Gluten free pretzels are fantastic. Please provide tea bags as part of your coffee set up. Many guests don’t drink coffee. Please invest in a better quality of toilet paper and tissues. Time to replace some of the outdoor furniture at the fireplace. One housekeeping issue in my room - there were spots of dried blood on a couple of tiles in the shower.

Such a cute place to stay! The location is excellent- you’re within walking distance to everything. The woman that checked us in was so friendly and welcoming. The rooms were clean and they offered a great continental breakfast. Not the comfiest beds, but that was our only complaint. Would definitely stay here again!

I really enjoyed my stay here at this property. All staff were friendly and professional. Enjoyed the breakfast and my accommodations was clean and comfortable. We've stayed here twice now, and love it. Fun, quirky architecture makes you feel like you're really in a different place. Service is great, free breakfast is wonderful, and the rooms have everything you need. Rooms have a little bar area with a mini fridge, and always have a table and chairs that are handy for a drink or a game of cards. Great place, we'll be back!

We arrived early at the property. We asked whether our room could be ready early. We were asked for our cell phone number and we would be notified. After walking around for over two hours, we arrived back and were told it wasn't ready yet, so we left and got a drink at a drive thru. We arrived 30 minutes later - room still wasn't available. We were told that it would be ready in 30 minutes! Wasn't that nice? However, that put it at the regular check in time...nothing special there. 4:00 p.m. check in time is too late. I wasn't impressed with their attitude. The room was fine...clean and spacious. Overall an average stay.
