We loved how clean the room was and how easy it was to get in and out of the room. This inn was also a walking distance to the little village. We loved it here and plan to book here for future trips. Great service!!

Nicely decorated and clean rooms. Contactless check in and free parking. Cute outdoor seating area with fire pit, which we didn’t utilize however looked inviting. Loved that the room had a microwave and mini fridge, plus a table and chairs for eating or visiting. Water bottles and an electric kettle with hot tea and coffee packets were a nice touch. My only negative was that room 2 I was in was closest to the main road and there is a significant amount of traffic sounds. However on the flip side being so close to everything was amazing.

We had a great stay at the Viking Inn. Room 6 was a perfect little room. It's very simple, as in the room was small and had only the basics, but that is exactly what I want out of a "Roadside Motel." The room was very clean and the bed was COMFY. I will definitely be back again for another stay!!

Very charming and recently renovated property. Perfect for a quick stay with great walkability to all of Solvang.

Property was nice on the outside but I had a couple concerns. First, there was definitely black mold in the shower and the room continuously got stuffy. Even though it was quite cold we had to keep opening a window. Second, water pressure in the shower was terrible and took forever to rinse off shampoo. Lastly, mattress was very old and uncomfortable. Room otherwise was clean, but the black mold and old shower with little water pressure was definitely an issue.

⭐ The Viking is hands down the best place to stay in Solvang! ⭐ From the moment I arrived, the amazing staff made my stay absolutely wonderful. Everyone was so warm and welcoming, truly going above and beyond to make sure I was comfortable. When I couldn’t reach the heater in my room, I called the front desk, and within two minutes, someone was there to help! Now that’s service! The desk attendant was the sweetest person, making me feel right at home. But what makes The Viking even better is its perfect location—just a short walk to the Solvang Marketplace, plus a convenience store right across the street in case you need anything. If you’re visiting Solvang, look no further—The Viking is THE place to stay! Great service, unbeatable location, and a team that truly cares. I’ll definitely be coming back! I booked a stay for my husband and I for Christmas. The inn was so cute you can definitely see how much time was put into making this place shine again. I loved it. The room was comfortable everything we needed for our four night stay. It was nice to be able to walk in to town we didnt have to drive anywhere. I also loved the addition of the fire pit as well. Super cool art with the cycling viking. Being that we are cyclists it was the perfect touch. Would absolutely stay there again.
