I had a great experience when i was there for the week .. staff was very friendly and helpful. The area is great you can walk to places and the Museo arte de Puerto Rico is literally a 5 min walk from the hotel.

I stayed in a suite with a balcony which I came to celebrate me 41st birthday February 12th. I thought the room was very nice until it was time to go to bed there was a huge piece of mold growing out the wall. I called the front desk let them know my concerns my room was not changed and no one called or even showed concerned that I was in an hazardous room.

There were a number of things I didn’t like - very noisy and it’s as if you have the windows open - it’s a very busy street and to late hours The room was not all that clean- the rug was dirty and you can tell they don’t sweep every day. They did t clean the sink for over two days so it got grungy the windows haven’t been cleaned so you can’t see the view even if you want to The lobby Is so tiny so b careful if you have large bags. Except for the location - I don’t recommend.

Lodging Gem in San Juan

Great stay here. Large, spacious room. Comfortable beds. Friendly, helpful staff. Convenient parking lot ($17 for 24 hrs) just around the corner. Nice neighborhood. Across from a park.
