I did not stayed because the staff gave me a room I did not reserved. I reserved my room 8 days in advanced and call to tell them I was going to check in late. I got there round 11:30 pm. I was talking to Elizabeth who insisted that all they could do is offer me a one bed room room and move me to a two bedroom the next day, meanwhile people were coming to her about things that did not work in their room, all she told them was "it is not working". "I'll have someone look at it in the morning"...I will never make a reservation at this hotel again and I will leave a review in other social medial. Because staff was very unprofessional.

We got there Thursday and we went in the pool Thursday and Friday night didn’t have a problem but Saturday night we had my sister cover my brother was staying there as well and the front office comes in and says if we have bracelets we say no she said well you have to have some we had been there since Thursday and there was no issues before then we don’t realize the time maintenance comes and says we have to get out we were playing a game and tell him can we finish the game and he said yes a few min later the front desk comes out and gets mad we get out and we clean we are outside of the pool are by the bbq pits and we sitting there laughing and talking we have a speaker but not load and she comes to the side really rude and says I’ve been having complaints about the noise and now people want to check out late because they can’t sleep mind you before that my husband had talk to her and she told him everything was fine we can be out there that wasn’t a problem and after there was a problem I didn’t like that we went down to be with family and you can’t be out there late because of the noise

Our experience was great the first night, the second night when we go into the pool we were playing volleyball and the volleyball went out of the pool and it hit a little kid but the kid didnt even flinch cry or anything we kindly apologized and tried moving further away, come to find out the mom of the child was the receptionist named Amanda and im assuming she was off the clock, she called the front desk and reported us just blantanly lying saying we had hit multiple people when it had just been the one incident, which i understand why she would be upset but we apologized and tried to be as polite as possible there was no need to report us, I dont know if she was on a power trip or what because later she left and everything was fine we stopped playing volleyball to avoid any other accidents and started playing marco polo, like i said everything went back to normal and we continued playing, about an hour or so later she comes back and not even 10 minutes later after she came back the receptionist on duty comes and tells us to quiet down because she was getting noise complaints… its a SWIMMING POOL the swimming pools are there to have fun, but somehow there was no problem when Amandas children were screaming and playing and DIVING in the pool, so why would it be a problem when we are just playing, again i dont know if she was on a power trip because she works there or what but if this is how she acts when shes off her shift i can only imagine when shes on her shift

We frequently stay at Home2 locations throughout Texas—from Lubbock to Dallas to McAllen—and have come to appreciate their consistent cleanliness, modern design, and reasonable pricing. We selected the Home2 in Alamo (McAllen) specifically for its EV charger, and it exceeded our expectations in every way. This location was noticeably brighter, cleaner, and better managed than the other Home2 properties in the area. Our room was more spacious and better equipped, and the pool, social areas, and parking lot were all well-lit and inviting. Most impressively, the staff stood out for their proactive approach—regularly checking in and seeking feedback to ensure a great stay.
