The room description did not match what I was given. When I complained and requested a room change (which was requested within minutes of my arrival) they refused, citing my booking was done through a third part any their website and they were overbooked. After speaking to assistant manager, I was offered a $200 reset credit. The location is beautiful, but the rooms need updating. The restaurant service is slow. If anyone is going to this hotel, specifically request rooms with bay view to ensure you get what you pay for!

Hotel accommodated an early check in which was really nice. Hotel has a nice location, 1 block off of beach and right on mission bay. Room was in the tower and does show its age. Room had small kitchenette which was unexpected. Beds were comfortable and hotel was mostly quiet.

Nice resort, very family friendly. The rooms are a bit old though. The elevators in the tower were very slow too (there was usually a line of people waiting). That being said, the grounds were beautiful. We also really enjoyed the pool, location, and restaurant.

From the moment we walked in the resort we were greeted with smiles and every employee was so excited to see us! They let us check in a couple hours early and use their facilities while we waited. They stored our luggage the day we got there and when we checked out too while we walked around the area. I actually stayed here when i was a kid in the 80’s and didn’t realize it until i walked in and saw the parrots and the koi swimming ponds. It was a magical memory then and was today as well! Thank you for making another family memory for us!

I love the peaceful tranquility this resort provides. It is out dated a little and needs some updating. Major issues with the tower elevators while we stayed there. Overall 8/10

Overall the theme of the resort is amazing my kids loved the parrots, ducks, turtles. Everyone was very helpful and assisted in everything. As a note request a room away from the elevator as why the hotel is quite you can hear them all night, we did. It have a problem but some might.

The Catamaran was an excellent place to stay at. The property was beautiful, the staff was friendly, the room was clean, the location was awesome and the amenities were great. This was the nicest resort I’ve ever been to and I’d recommend it to anyone.

Easy check in, helpful staff, thank you for one of my room upgrade, but second room is not garden view, mostly is a Landry facility view, and very noisy in the mornings ,. Overall is okay, but rooms are old and overpriced
