The nearest Travelocity accommodation is the Hotel Futaba, Niigata, which is 13 miles (20 kilometers) from the downtown area of Sakae. Or instead, you could head to the Nozawa Grand Hotel, located in Nagano, which is 8 miles (13 kilometers) away.

The Jinpyokaku is located 13 miles (21 kilometers) outside central Sakae. An alternative place to stay is the Issano Komichi Biyuno Yado, which is approximately 13 miles (22 kilometers) away. Two other Travelocity-listed places to stay in the Sakae area include the Shima Onsen Kashiwaya Ryokan and the Shiga Park Hotel.

When you've seen Sakae, schedule in a little time to investigate the other cultural and scenic attractions of the Chubu area.
