The staff were courteous and efficient. The room itself was clean, the bed comfortable, the tv a bit wonky but okay. The bathroom however, is woefully inadequate. The toilet flushes very reluctantly and very little, the handheld shower is cumbersome and there’s no shower curtain so water goes everywhere. And it’s a slippery bathtub rather than a proper shower. There’s little counter space for toiletries. The breakfast was very good but the breakfast room cannot easily accommodate the large number of guests in this large hotel. The staff worked gallantly to try to keep up, but there wasn’t enough food and long lines for coffee. The neighborhood was nice but there was one character walking back and forth for two days trying to snatch belongings from tourists. A restaurant worker told us that he is a regular thief in the area.
