La casa e' regolarmente abitata dai suoi proprietari, ed e' quindi ricca di arredi storici, fornite biblioteche, strumenti musicali, opere d'arte, e una cucina attrezzatissima. La casa e' stata ristrutturata con uno spirito conservativo della sua essenza storica e quindi e' ricca di pavimenti traballanti, infissi cigolanti e altri dettagli che , per coloro a cui questo sapore piace, contribuiscono a rendere il luogo assolutamente unico. l'esposizione e' tale per cui da meta' pomeriggio va in ombra e quindi si gode il fresco. il pezzo forte direi e' l'ampia terrazza con vista mozzafiato su una larga valle incontaminata con in fondo il porto di Macinaggio, il mare e l'isola di Capraia. gentile e disponibile accoglienza da parte della proprietaria."
