Fridge, safe, bed, and patio all need help! Lots of broken things. 1 bar, low quality food, it's not on the beach like they state,but a long hike to the beach, and is next to stagnate water, so it stinks. Positive was Julio! He's knowledgeable, helpful, kind, and reasonable, and his water excursions are just Fantastic! Julio always has a beautiful smile, and exudes positivity!See Monkey Jungle, it was also phenomenal! Aurielio is an amazing bartender, and Sophia from Italy at the front desk was a huge help to me and others. I don't recommend this hotel, but I do Julio and his snorkeling etc, and monkey jungle. The General Manager was rude, didn't listen,and when we disagreed, she threatened me. Her name is Jennifer, and she has no idea how to deal with guests. Towel holder is 7.5 ft. High, there's mold on the property, shows were horrible, and in an outside room. Disco is blasted all day at the pool, the ocean is dirty. Even the "fresh" fruit is not ripe, coffee is bad, but cappuccino is good. The drinks are poorly made, and they use very little alcohol. Activities are poorly run, old cardboard beat cards, a hula hoop and some darts. If you win, you get a pouch of coffee. About what you need for 1 cup except without a filter. The prize is therefore as exciting as the games. When they do BINGO, it's only 1 or 2 games. Their idea of a mini bar is a broken mini refrigerator with 1 diet Coke and 1 Sprite. Wam needs to get their name off of this property! Never again!

The rooms had mold almost everywhere, and it appeared they just painted over the doors to cover it up. The bathroom floor was constantly wet and slippery. The door sensor frequently shut off, causing our keycards to malfunction about half the time. We had to call staff approximately five times to gain entry, even after ensuring the key cards were kept away from magnetic devices. The buffet primarily catered to tourists, disappointing those seeking an authentic Dominican culinary experience; we only had real Dominican food one day, and even then, some dishes were absent. As a Dominican myself, I was very disappointed. This was a family trip to celebrate my birthday and wedding anniversary. While the event staff was definitely the highlight, keeping guests entertained with great shows, unfortunately, two family members became ill during our stay, making the trip less than desired. The property is not very family-friendly for small children. The pool was the only draw, but guests were allowed to smoke in and by the pool. Although the staff was great and genuinely concerned, overall, I will NOT be booking Viva Heavens in the future.

Took an hour and a half to check in, the staff checked us in at 4:30 pm. Then the room we reserved and paid for which was a king size suite they did not have available.

Entertainment was so much fun. The bar staff was excellent. Food staff at the reservations restaurants was extremely poor due to so many locals. The locals came on the weekend and were rude to staff to visitors. Ruined 3 days of my expensive vacation.

This resort was very nice , the rooms are very spacious the A/C is the best . The food was great . Staff members were very friendly. We want to personally thank Maria and Estefani they were always very attentive and made our stay and my Dads birthday a special one . Ernesto from the tours was great we had a wonderful experience at paradise island it’s a must do. Specially on a Saturday when it was very busy . Hendry was very friendly and welcoming . Some evenings we had dinner outside in front of the pool and that was very nice and beautiful . The vibe was very romantic and nice. The beach is very close and a beautiful walk , The place is super nice and clean . Compared to other resorts we been this one is small and everything is close by. Gym staff Adonis were also great and very motivating . We had a wonderful time. And we will definetly be back .

Viva Heavens is a small resort with a long walk to the beach. The buffet for breakfast and lunch and snacks are subpar to say the least however the restaurant food was really good. The resort is middle of the road budget friendly. You get what you pay for. Staff was friendly, knowledgeable and very helpful.

The staff was very friendly. Great entertainers. Food selection and drinks great. We liked that the cleaning staff cleaned daily.Unfortunately the room has deteriorating due to water leaking from hvac system.. the bathroom sheetrock on ceiling was peeling off due to leaking. The hvac filter was dirty and needed replacement. The hvac system probably needed maintenence. The sliding door patio had failed wheels for sliding door open..you literally had to push hard.. Hopefully this was just an isolated event. Overall, we would come back, the benefits still outweighed the pesky inconveniences.
