Wonderful inside and out!

While a bit hard to find if arriving after dark, this property is definitely worth it! The water views from every room and the deck are even better than the pictures, and the interior is just as nice - spacious, clean and well-appointed with small but impactful touches of comfort and convenience like throw blankets, night lights, and holiday decor. Look forward to staying again!

Exceptional home !! Beautifully decorated, extremely clean and well kept ! You can tell owners take pride in their home !! Gorgeous views of the river with stunning sunsets ! Home has all you need. Owners are very responsive ! This was our third visit and plan to keep this a tradition.

Awesome in Every Way

This property is amazing. We celebrated Mother's Day with a big brunch out on the covered deck overlooking the river. The big kitchen is fully stocked with pots and pans, plates and glasses and utensils and hot pads... everything we needed. The decorating is professional quality: beautiful and relaxing with lots of unexpected touches. The place was spotlessly clean too! Thanks so much for making this available for us to enjoy.

Beautifully decorated house, well furnished.

Right on the river, can have coffee on the covered patio and watch the river. Close to I-80 bridge, but with the windows closed, the sound is gone. One of the better furnished houses we’ve stayed in. And everything is top of line from the refrigerator to the coffee pot! A wonderful breakfast (and lunch, dinner) diner less than half mile away. Easily and safely walkable on the bike trail that runs by the back yard.

Perfect Quiet Getaway

This was our second stay at Rivers Edge II. We had beautiful weather and enjoyed our days out on the deck. The fish were biting as well !! Our third stay is already on the books! Dan is a wonderful host !! We’ve recommended our favorite spot to our neighbors. Very peaceful area, Dan’s home is immaculate !!

Great place to stay

We stayed a couple days because of a family event in the area and enjoyed our stay. The view of the river was nice and there is a walking/biking/running path from the house to a park and beyond that runs along the river that we enjoyed. Also, the Brothers restaurant down the street had great food.

River Retreat

Very nicely decorated, clean, and updated riverfront home. Amazing views of LeClaire lights at night and comfortable furnishings. Noise from the highway could be heard but wasn’t too bothersome. Games and puzzles were there for entertainment which was fun. Brothers eatery down the street was great for breakfast. Would stay again.

Five Star In Every Way

If I owned a VRBO, I would want Dan to manage it. Everything seemed clean, fresh and new. It was also very easy to communicate with Dan with any questions we had. The view across the Mississippi was amazing during the day and even better under the night lights. There was a bit of road noise from the I-80 bridge, but after while it just became part of the ambiance. All in all, a very comfortable, relaxing experience. Thank You Dan! -- Tom & Jan

Gorgeous, inside and out!

This is the loveliest VRBO we have ever stayed in. It wasnot just spotless, it was loved by the owners! Great care was taken with every single space. It was so well decorated! The comfortable deck overlooking the Mississippi was perfect. We will eagerly return.

Perfect

The house was perfect for us and our lifer friends visiting from Louisiana. The decor was lovely and had everything we needed. We spent all of our time on the spacious deck enjoying the view of the Mighty Mississippi. Dan was a great host. Will definitely rent again to share the experience….

Relaxing Getaway

Beautiful home, exactly as listed. Gorgeous sunsets. Covered deck perfect for the occasional rainy day or to stay out of the sun. We spent most of our time out there !! Quiet area. Views of the Mississippi from every room. Highly recommend !!
