Ledges Hotel
"The hotel, a beautifully restored historic glass-making factory, is full of charm and character. Learning about its history made the experience even more special. The peaceful sound of the waterfalls, accompanied by birds singing, created a relaxing atmosphere, and the outdoor dining area overlooking the falls was simply beautiful. My husband especially enjoyed the main gathering area, where we played games, had cocktails, and enjoyed our morning coffee. It was a welcoming space to unwind. There are a few opportunities for improvement. The carpeting throughout the hotel did not appear as clean as the rest of the property. I also believe hotel guests should be asked at check-in if they would like reservations at the restaurant. Thankfully, Brittany at the front desk went above and beyond to secure us a reservation after we were initially told none were available. Her exceptional customer service made a lasting impression. On our second evening, we spent time playing cards in the main lounge. Although several servers walked by, no one offered food or drinks, and we had to find a server ourselves. This felt like a missed opportunity to provide attentive hospitality while increasing food and beverage sales. Overall, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The property's history, beautiful setting, and Brittany's outstanding service made it a wonderful experience. With a few improvements, this hotel could be exceptional."
