Crowne Plaza Hotel Fort Lauderdale Airport/Cruiseport by IHG
"A nice hotel 2 mins from Port Everglades and behind the airport. We stayed here for a Disney cruise we were doing. The room was very nice and the ice etc was right down the way. Check in was easy but they do hit you with a parking fee we didn't know about. Why not just include these in the price to stay?? If you want 25 dollars a night, just push up the price 25 dollars and give us a tag for our window!! It's a way to make them look cheaper than they really are and I hate that tactic. Just be warned when you pull in, the guard makes you park in a certain spot so you can go into the hotel and pay before you can move it to a normal parking spot! The swimming pool on the 5th floor was pretty cool and they do have an on site restaurant if you need to eat but we never tried it. Overall it was a fine place to stay for a cruise, just be aware of their way to make extra money if you need to park."
