The Arizona Grand is wonderful. We love staying here when we are in Phoenix. The staff is very friendly. We love the lazy river especially during the crazy heat of summer. There is several good restaurants to choose from.

Waterpark was amazing and a lot of fun. Only problem was our shower had a horrible smell from the drain and what looked like black mold in the shower and on the shower vent. I told them at check out about the issue and they offered to credit one day of resort fees. For as much as you spend on staying there you would think the rooms would be a little more maintained.

We enjoyed our stay and the waterpark was really great. The rooms could use some upgrades with better furniture and better lighting. The bathrooms are also very small

I loved having a corner suite set apart from other rooms. This is much more of a family themed vs. adult resort (it’s got a family waterpark). It’s also, apparently, geared toward golfers. Neither of those options were of interest/use to me- I was looking for a luxury spa experience. My suite seemed a bit run down & timeworn. I didn’t report it (I should have, that’s my fault) that the door was difficult to close & stayed ajar if not pulled/pushed very hard. Also, the toilet wouldn’t flush completely unless I held the lever down until all of the water in the bowl emptied. I thought that some of the charges weren’t clearly stated ahead of time ($75 “resort fee” on top of everything else). Likewise, there were significant extra charges for spa services that weren’t disclosed until afterward (not the tip or the listed cost of the services when I booked the trip). Maybe that’s normal, though- this was my first stay in a resort. I do know I’ve never been charged like that for any spa I’ve been to. All of the staff, & my spa technicians in particular, were excellent & highly skilled. Overall, I wouldn’t recommend this sort of accommodation/trip if you’re worried about your budget, &/or if you won’t be using all of the amenities.

Our family absolutely loved staying at this property. They had so much to do at this resort and there is no need to leave the area unless you want to. The waterpark has pools for all ages and lots of spots to sit and lounge. The villas all have separate pools and hots tubs to enjoy if you don’t want to go to the waterpark. During our stay, the resort had a long firework show, Easter egg hunt, reptile show, and more! We would definitely come back. Great spot for families.

Family Grandkids yearly visit

I wish the lazy river had the water falls flowing to get you wet and keep you cool. That is my only issue with this trip. We have been coming for years and this time no water flowing on top over you as you stroll along the lazy river in your rafts.

The water park is the reason we stayed there, and it was not bad. Not as big as the picture, but good enough for the family get away. The room do need some updates, it has the old building smell when we open the door, and our shower was not draining properly.

Our first time at the Arizona Grand was great! We were able to check in early and the staff were friendly. Our first room had a weird odor so we called in and they kindly resolved it quickly. A nice staff member brought us new keys to our newly assigned room. We loved using the Oasis water park. Outside of the water park, our building also had two pools and a spa. At night, there were awesome fireworks. We had a sofa bed in our room but we didn’t like that it didn’t have a comforter to go with it. The room was large enough for us. The furniture is a little dated but well kept. Finally check out was easy and there was plenty of food and shopping just a quick drive away. We would definitely stay there again but definitely ask for an extra comforter at check in.

We love the Arizona Grand but there were fire works all night on the Friday April 18 that kept us up all night. Not sure what was going on in the area around the resort but the fireworks were non stop from 10 pm to 4 am.
