We almost didn't write a review because, selfishly, we wanted to keep this little gem a secret! The Beachside Motel is a fantastic place to stay, a classic throwback to a simpler time while still being exceptionally clean, comfortable, and well maintained. The location is hard to beat, just a block from the beach, and the atmosphere around the property is wonderful. The attached ice cream stand is a great bonus and adds to the charm. The staff were friendly, helpful, and accommodating, and both check-in and check-out were quick and easy. Without a doubt, this is one of the best values we've found anywhere in British Columbia. We'll definitely be back!

Good sized studio room with a small but adequate AC. Nice to have a fold out couch & dining table w/3 chairs. No pots & pans or kettle for cooking in the kitchenette but just ask for them. Location near Skaha is great for kids.
