Beautiful but stressful stay
Condo was not clean upon arrival. Hair in kitchen and dirty rug that had not been vacuumed. Hairball the size of a ping pong ball and cigarette butts strewn about the terrace. I thought the condo was no smoking? Chairs not on their proper places. It was odd. Sofa cushions turned around showing zippers. No attention to detail. We contacted management who came to fix the above issues. We ultimately cleaned ourselves after buying some supplies at the local Walmart. Not a good start to a vacation. Place never felt clean to us. Sofa has no support and just not comfortable. Sheets were so wrinkled they looked like crepe paper. Mattresses don’t have protective covers and upon departing we saw stains on the mattresses. Gross! Hope owner addresses these concerns. It’s a beautiful place but needs some TLC. Yes I’m picky but it was 400$ a night almost so I’m entitled! First impressions are everything and our first impression was disappointing. I put a review in under Portofino’s website but it has never posted! I find that unacceptable therefore would
not return to this complex. Too bad because it is a beautiful place.
