If I could give a higher rating for communication with host, I would. What a lovely couple. So responsive and patient and wonderful. Then location- location, location, location. It was perfect- right across from the beach but not in the center of the shops (so it was less congested) but easily walkable or on bikes (or drive) to all of the beach town centers. The house is perfectly equipped- bikes, all kitchen needs, lovely clean pool, beach towels, chairs, and umbrellas. We couldn't have wanted for more. The back area is so lovely- we had dinner and played games in the screened in porch with the fans at night. We spent hours reading on the third floor walkout where you can see the Gulf. I wish I was back there right now!

Great place!

We loved our stay at Mermaid’s Retreat! The location was excellent being so close to the beach and also walking and biking distance to shops, but not so close to where there was a lot of noise. It was super peaceful. The house was exactly as listed and very clean! Troy was always extremely quick to answer any questions that we had. We would definitely stay here again!

We loved our stay at Mermaids! It’s so close to the beach and close to Allis, Rosemary, and Seaside areas, but gives you a quiet oasis in between the busier areas.

Perfect Location and Amazing Hosts

First - The communication and response from the owners was hands down, amazing. Troy was on point throughout the process providing updates to the booking, calling within min of a few minor issues during our stay, and going above and beyond to follow up. The house has everything you need to simplify your stay - 8 beach chairs (some brand new), a wagon (brand new), beach umbrellas, and plenty of sand toys. The kitchen is fully stocked with plenty of flatware and utensils, and all bedrooms had decent linens. The pool was great and gets great mid day sun for a few hours, but has nice shade early morning and late afternoon. We paid for the heated pool and it was set to a perfect 87 and held temp so kids enjoyed it our entire stay.My only complaint (not that I would even call it that) was that some of the bedrooms don't have smart TV's (they do have older blue ray players that are smart but can't access all the apps or only work intermittently) and our stay was during the start of march madness so with a few sports nuts in the house we struggled to try and watch the games we wanted between only 2 smart TV's that were functional with streaming apps.Plenty of amazing restaurants within a 5 - 10 min drive, daily 3-5 mile walks and bike rides are a breeze with the walking path across the street and included bikes, and all around was a great stay at a great location!

Perfect 30A Vacation!

My girlfriends and I all stayed at this gorgeous property for a long weekend celebrating me for my bachelorette. The house location was absolutely amazing and was a rare find due to us having free beach access right across the street from the house along with a private pool in our backyard! The only recommendations I would have is for there to be more bikes granted the house accommodates so many people - however, there are many bike rental companies in the area that you can rent some from. The other would be for a couple extra toiletries (ex: more than one roll of toilet paper per bathroom and trash bags) as we ran out quite fast with there being so many of us! Other than that, the house came equipped with every and anything you can think of! Most of all, Mandy, the host, was so incredibly kind the days leading up to our trip, answering all of my questions and even giving us all the best recommendations and ideas for us girls to do during our stay. Overall, she was extremely accommodating and a wonderful host and the house was so roomy for all of us girls! I would definitely recommend considering this vacation home if you come to this BEAUTIFUL part of Florida as it also is located in between all of the most amazing spots in 30A area (right in the middle of Rosemary and Seaside). Thank you Mandy for helping us have such an amazing trip that I will forever cherish - I will definitely be back!!

Perfect 30A Rental

We had an amazing stay with our large family group (6 adults and 4 kids). The location is perfect with a close walk across the street to beach access and the private pool was a nice bonus. The house is very well equipped with beach chairs, umbrellas, toys, and a beach wagon to carry it all down. The kitchen is also well stocked with everything you need to cook at home. We would strongly recommend.

Great home. Great location.

This home was great for our family. Plenty of space, clean, and just a short walk to the beach. With small children, having easy access to and from the beach was key and having a private pool with plenty of shade was a game changer. It was our first time taking the kids to Florida and we hope to do so many more times!

Seacrest paradise

Our most favorite Vrbo stay!!! Everything was fabulous!!! Location is great! Just walk across to the beach, short 1-2 mile walk to Rosemary Beach. Our own private pool!!! The house accommodated our family well with room for more!- 8 adults plus a 3 yr old & 9 mo old Contact with owners so easy & very helpful with recommendations We are all thinking of our next trip back here!!!!

Wonderful Stay

We loved our stay in Seacrest. It was our first time to the area and we will definitely return.The house was beautiful and had all the amenities we needed. We stayed here with 3 families and it worked out great; each family basically got their own floor. The kitchen was very well stocked with plenty of dishes, cookware, and utensils. The location was also perfect. The host was responsive and helpful. We would definitely recommend staying here.

Excellent Accommodation! Wonderful hosts! Would easily recommend!

We stayed at this wonderful property for five nights January-February, and we thoroughly enjoyed our time there. The home was clean and well-appointed and had plenty of space for the four adults and five children that made up our party. The location is excellent with access to the beach pretty much right across the street. The pool was awesome when we were not hanging out at the beach. I'm so glad we found this place. The arrival/check-in process was a breeze, and Troy was a kind, communicative host. We had everything we needed for our stay. I would recommend this property and host to anyone!

Excellent!

Wonderful experience! Easy booking process, great communication with answering all our questions leading up to our vacation too. We had 12 people in our group with ages of children from 5-10. Walking distance to beach! Owners gave restaurant recommendations too. Also checked on us while we were there to make sure things were ok and if we needed anything. We will definitely be back!

Perfect family getaway

The home was great. Tons of space for our large family of 11. The location was ideal. We spent everyday at the beach which was a quick walk from the home. The kitchen is super well stocked and all the beds were comfortable. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. Troy and Mandy are great hosts. They communicated with us in a timely fashion. Would recommend this rental as a great place to stay in the Rosemary Beach area.

Excellent Beach House!

The property was beautiful and very clean. The outdoor space and pool was amazing and there were lots of beach and pool toys and accessories available. Very quick walk to the beach and there were plenty of beach chairs, umbrellas, and beach wagon included with the house. My kids loved it! Communication was fantastic. Couldn’t recommend more!

Family Beach Vacation

Our family just recently had a wonderful time at The Mermaid’s Retreat. We had our two sons/daughter in laws and four grands four years old and under. The beach house had everything we needed. If you have younger children staying here Troy and Mandy have thought of everything: toys, pack and plays, stair gate, beach toys, etc. We had plenty of room to spread out comfortably. We loved the pool after a day at the beach which is only a short distance away. They even provided a wagon to carry our gear to the beach. Our family of ten will be back in the future. We loved your place. Thank you so much from Texas. 😎

Family Beach Vacation

Fantastic location just across the street from the beach and biking distance from the quaint little towns. The pool was a big plus with our three grandchildren. For the cost, we would have expected more personal amenities like toilet paper, laundry detergent, dish soap, paper towels etc. Great having the four bikes provided, but they need some maintenance for the rusted chains that would fall off. Overall, it was a wonderful experience, given the fact we chose mid-August and its excessive heat..Daytime pool and evening beach time worked best.

OUTSTANDING!!!

This home is amazing and was absolutely perfect for my husband, me & 6 teenagers. It was clean, the beds were very comfortable, the n’hood was safe & quiet, the pool was clean and refreshing…..& IT LITERALLY TAKES LESS THAN ONE MINUTE TO GO FROM YOUR BED TO THE BEACH!!!! No golf cart needed! We used bikes and our vehicles to go shopping, to restaurants, etc.,. We couldn’t have had a better experience!

Perfect Location

We had a great time! The house was as described and the location couldn’t be beat! We tried to rent chairs but couldn’t find a company that would access the address. In the end we were actually glad that it worked out that way because the house had so many chairs and umbrellas that we were glad we didn’t spend our money on them. The wagon was a huge bonus. The Fallows were wonderful hosts and were available by text the whole time for any questions or concerns.

We had very enjoyable week. The walk to the beach was very short which made it great. We ate in every night but one, grilled a couple of nights.
