Fantastic Stay!

Only compliments about our stay, the updated renovation, and the included cookware. We brought our own beach chairs which was a good idea because the included beach chairs and umbrella are not available during the winter months due to the contracted beach-side service. The easy walk out access to the beach was wonderful for early morning walks on the beach. We would love to stay there again.

Great Stay

The location was wonderful and the condo was very nice and clean. My only recommendation would be to replace the sofa bed mattress to something more substantial. This one was exceptionally thin foam and you could feel the metal bars in your back. Other than that, wonderful stay!

The location was wonderful as we ventured to Rosemary beach and seaside which we were situated right between. The fact that we could get to the beach so easily from the condos porch we a huge plus for us with a two year old. I would absolutely stay here again!

It provided a quiet spot on the coast for relaxing and taking walks, as well as easy access to other areas along the coast for exploring, hiking, and enjoying local farmer's markets, fish markets and local restaurants, as well as convenient access for groceries. I found it thoughtfully equipped, clean and comfortable, with a tasteful beach vibe!

Lovely condo and beach

This unit is on the first floor. There is a very short flight of stairs to the first floor with parking in front of the unit. This made loading and loading very easy. This property is conveniently located on 30A close to restaurants and shopping. Evenings were quiet without the noise of traffic or rowdy groups. The bed was very comfortable, and the air conditioning kept the temperatures in an excellent range. The patio is also a great place to enjoy the beautiful scenery.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: One bedroom gulf front condo that was comfortable but could use a little TLC. The mattress in the bedroom was uncomfortable and could be replaced. The light in the kitchen was broken and needs to be fixed. The curtain on one of the windows was hanging on by a screw and almost falling off.

Condo was nicely decorated and clean, boardwalk to beach came right up to back patio but people with bad knees need to be aware of how many steps there are on the boardwalk to beach (3 flights), beach was great and chairs and umbrella were setup and ready for us, housekeeping needs to leave access to essentials (such as toilet paper- there was only ONE roll available), traffic in and out is very congested during certain times of the day, there were bicycles there but we didn't use them, drove thru Rosemary Beach which had nice shady areas, shopping, and places to eat.

The only drawback was being on the first floor and a walkway that went right past our bedroom window and also our living area patio doors. The view was also somewhat obstructed. That being said, there were the advantages of not having to walk up several stairs!

It was a nice spot, well equipped, easy in ( first floor) and out ( boardwalk right to the water). A few daily needs were met with kindness and promptness. The bed in the main room is a queen, it was comfortable but may need updating in the future. There was also a pull out couch but we didn’t use it. If you love sunsets, this is your spot .

The only downfall about this place is that it is located right next door to a public beach. There was not coded gate to keep those individuals out of the Mistral property and they were going back and forth which was scary. They were parking on 30A and using the Mistral as their beach entrance. Other than this concern we had a great stay.

Looking outside there is a fence and gate you see instead of this nice view of the ocean in the picture. Also people are constantly walking in front of your window to get to the beach. So there is NO privacy if you have the curtains open. The condo was very clean, but there was an overwelming smell walking into the was some sort of air freshener, or a heavily scented cleaning product. The refrigerator smelled like there was an open jug of clorox in it. Which I guess is better than it being dirty, but the smells were very overpowering.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The condo was well decorated and had every thing we needed for our weeks stay. It was convenient to not have to walk up lots of stairs to access the room as well as the being able to access the beach from the deck. The only thing that was a bit disappointing for us was that the TV was all streaming so not a lot of options if you don’t already have streaming accounts. Netflix and LiveTV (which wasn’t really live) was provided. Others, your in your own.

Not impressed

Arrived at 5:30 pm with door code in hand…didn’t work…called Benchmark, the rep. On duty was not familiar with property, kept referring to an incorrect address. Eventually door code was changed and I was able to get in. Benchmark did check back and I explained that the lock still. was not working on the first try they said they would investigate…three days later I checked out, lock was still an issue . Interior is very dated, lots of diy for your money just not worth it.
