We enjoyed our stay and would definitely rent again! The 2 pools and beach access were great. The condo was clean and stocked better than any kitchen we have ever stayed in! We read reviews on the elevators and long wait times but we actually found the elevator wait was not bad at all. The only thing we would suggest is making it know there is a large “lip” when stepping onto the porch. Several members of our party tripped and fell over it during the stay.

Winter Getaway

This property had everything that we needed for our 7 week winter stay. We love the Tidewater resort building. The management company was always thinking about our safety through the storms that popped up during our stay.

Updated clean condo Walking distance to the pierNegatives (but no big deal)Elevators are super slow and over crowded. Long wait at times. Dryer needs work Beds are not super comfortable but we were so exhausted each day it didn’t matter Overall 5 stars. Great place to stay will definitely return!

Nice Location, Disappointed in condition

Overall the Condo Unit was nice. I was disappointed in how dirty the floors were. The back door lock was broken and I never received a call back from the management company. Neither or the indoor hot tubs were working, we weren't allowed to use the indoor pool and a lot of the the exercise equipment is very rusted/broken.

Rating Details: The property manager was somewhat unhelpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was more than happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: It was awful. The condo was nice, clean and in a good location. The elevators were slow not always working and we have a wait less than 15mins the most of the time we had over 30min waits on the elevator. Security was nice to me and my wife, but rude to my kids.

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The room was very nice and clean. Unfortunately, the Tidewater building itself is not good. The wait for an elevator was ridiculous and most times we took the hot stairs up and down. The beach is mostly occupied by their chairs and umbrella's. We could only set up in the wet sand. The staff would harass certain families but then let other people stay where they were. It is too bad that this nice room is in such a bad building. I will not go to Tidewater again.

Beautiful Condo on 8th floor.

This condo has an amazing view of the ocean. It is beautifully decorated and had everything we needed. The only thing lacking was a corkscrew, so if you are a wine drinker, bring one! All the reviews say the elevators are horrible, we had no problem at all. The longest we waited was maybe 5 minutes. We hope to rent this same unit again next year.

This property was so clean! I absolutely loved the decor! I absolutely loved being able to walk out onto the balcony and watch the waves roll in!

Elevators were a nightmare. Condo had sandy all over the floor when we checked it.

Elevator vacation! They were awful, we waited sometimes an hour to get on and when we did we were packed in like sardines. Condo was nice and as described but the floors were dirty, they had sand all over them. Will not stay at Tidewater again because of the elevators.

So close, you can walk for 15-20 minutes by sea/road or drive about 5 minutes. We did not find any cork opener inside the kitchen, so ask the owner or bring your own. We would definitely recommend this property to a friend or relative.

Great place to stay

Condo exceptionally clean and very well stocked. Close to attractions. Elevators not near as bad as prior reviews. Had to wait during peak hours but if you use the elevators on the building's ends, they moved faster. Overall, good time and would/will recommend to others. We'll be back.

Condo was very nice

Condo was newly updated, well furnished, clean and has a nice view of the beach. The location was very close for the Ironman events at Pier Park that we attended but there was significant road construction on the street that hindered walking up and down the street.
