The hallways were dingy, 1st room smelled like cheap disinfectant, 2nd room a bit better. Room was cold, heat brought it up, but no way to turn off the fan, which ran all night. Sheets were scratchy. TV didn't connect, so couldn't watch a show before going to sleep. Breakfast was pretty good, but the coffee was like used motor oil. Stay at Motel 6, and eat a good breakfast at Black Bear. Money ahead.

Check in req'd $100 cash deposit or $50 on credit card. First BAD sign. Hallway to room reeked of cleaning product, room was worse. Tried to get a refund and leave, due to booking thru Travelocity, not an option. Night mgr showed us a 2nd room, better but not 100% odor free. Late check in (9pm), so we went shortly to bed (TV didn't work, so watching a short show was not an option). Room was cold, so we switched to heat, which worked fine, but the fan was on permanently "ON" and could not be changed. Sheets were somewhat scratchy. Tolerable, but not good. Breakfast was pretty good, coffee was terrible. Not many choices for my spouse that has dietary issues (can usually do fruit and some cereals, but not here). Checkout required a ten minute wait for the day mgr, to get my $100 back. For all they knew, the room was trashed, as no one checked before reissuing my deposit. So the "deposit" was mostly a scam. Wonder how many people are in a hurry and forget... Better breakfast than a Motel 6, but for the difference in cast, you can buy a great breakfast. So, being generous, on a scale of 1-10, I give it a 3. IE, won't be staying here again (and we visit Midwest City 3-4 times a year).

The room we were assigned to did not have a roll in shower and it was supposed to be handicap. The only solution was to use the roll in shower across the hall and stay in the room we were assigned.because the ceiling needed repair and they couldn’t rent theat room, but we could use shower. My husband has Parkinson’s and has to use a walker, that would totally not work. There was a step in bathtub in our room. So we went back down and we told the desk clerk we couldn’t stay the way because of bathroom situation. He said he would talk to manager and get back with me on refund. That was the 3rd of Feb. and have not recieved a call or message. We ended up staying at the LaQuinta Inn and everything was great there. My number is 918-230-5335 if you need to contact me. I would like my refund for the two nights.
