Inaccurate description, but an ok stay
Upstairs apartment is above an empty retail space. The street seems to be in transition with new, cute shops and empty, run-down places. We enjoyed the Cat and Third Space Cafés and Havana Restaurant on the street. The kitchen area and bathroom was nice, but no tub as description stated. The description called it "cozy, romantic, peaceful, charming, restful and thoughful decor." I wouldn't use those words. Honestly, the description sounds more AI generated than accurate. We were woken up every morning, whether it be at 3 a.m., 6 a.m. or 8 a.m. by noisy traffic. Did I mention the window-level streetlights? We had a great 4-day visit in Niagara Falls, but not because of the lodging. The AC did not work upon arrival nor the first night, but management got it fixed. That first night was hot though with no concessions made by owner. With a few tweaks: heavy, noise- and light-blocking curtains, bedside tables on both sides, ceiling fan, local literature, comfortable pillows, thread fitted sheet (not flannel) to name a few, it could be improved and has promise. The parking is tight and around the back of the building.
