Compass by Margaritaville Hotel Naples
"Good place. The pool gets busy late afternoon after the beach. Breakfast was good. The potatoes could be improved. Breakfast can be busy, but you just need a little patience; there's really no waiting more than a few minutes for anything as there are multiple toasters, coffee dispensers, etc., and people tend to be patient with each other. It is buffet style. There are definitely many staff members always around for breakfast; it's not just one person, it's at least three, four, or five people: chefs, people clearing tables, and keeping things clean. It's a pretty small window for breakfast as hotels go, so I think they purposely are very efficient about everything. The location is very safe and right next to a Publix and all kinds of other places where you can shop quickly for any kind of emergency item that you might have left. It's pretty much 10 or 15 minutes from nearby things like the beach. Myrtle Beach is maybe 25 minutes. It's pet-friendly with plenty of parking. The pool area is very nice. Finally, you better love Jimmy Buffett music because you will hear all of it, and they also have a nice acoustic guitar person out by the pool for happy hour. So, if you don't like hearing live music at all and you sleep in the late afternoons, don't get a room that faces the pool. You do hear it a little bit even with the air conditioner on. There are really only a couple of elevators. The building is kind of shaped like a horseshoe, so there's one elevator on each side."
