"We didn’t stay at this hotel due to unforeseen circumstances. Although Hotels.com tried to get a refund from the hotel, the hotel would not oblige. We are rearranging our trip to Laos next Spring. We will not be booking this hotel."

"Upon arrival we were given a different room than we booked as they had given our room to someone else. Told last minute after check in that there was no water. Partial river view and location was nice but this was the worst hotel we stayed in during our trip. Having no water was a major inconvenience for our family. We couldn’t wash hands, flush toilet or have a shower. Feel ripped off as no compensation for the room change or no water. Reading other reviews, it seems that the water issue isn’t a single occurrence. I also confirmed with others that nearby hotels had no water issues. The hotel seemed to make it sound like it was related to a larger scale issue but it seemed isolated to just this hotel."
