Had an amazing time at the Renaissance. Came in town for my birthday weekend and they welcomed me with a beautiful note, cupcake and room upgrade. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. Location is perfect walking distance to a lot of shops and restaurants. This was my first experience with this hotel and will definitely won't be the last. Thank you for making my birthday special.

Location - v good. Room ok, but lacking drawer/ shelf space for 2 people. Very dark - lighting poor, especially for putting on make up. Quilt was far too heavy & hot for 25-35°C temperature. Housekeeping was rather lax in making up our room. At least 2 occasions front desk was informed. Not done until after 4pm. Another occasion not until 8 pm. One day, insufficient staff meant a simple breakfast took an hour and a half. East had delicious food, but some portions were too much. Pleasant roof top bar.

Clear details on the exchange rate

I was not happy with the hotels.com advice. When I booked, they did not tell me or you did not tell me that it was in US dollars. When I reached the hotel, they would not change it or would not assist in trying to rectify the issue. Please next time inform your customers that it’s not in Canadian.m dollars, when quoting.

We really enjoyed our stay. Our room was very clean, the hair products were Kevin Murphy, Nespresso for coffee. Beds were comfortable and I loved the robes. My only two things that prevent me giving a rating of excellent were the dinning and there is no pool. Both hotel restaurants are an Asian infused theme. That was not a good fit for my youngest son. We needed up having to order delivery for him and room service for us. I was disappointed there was no pool. It said there was I believe , it was also listed on the amenities in the room. Other than those two things it was wonderful. Location was amazing, staff were wonderful, decor was very cool.

Very nice rooftop bar, staff was awesome. Food was delicious and reasonably priced. They also have another dining option on the first floor. I did not experience that one but several food options, nearby and walkable to China town and Old port15-20 min. If you are into fitness, there is a Vitamin/supplement store across the street and there’s a Nike store, Also a short distance if you need short, shoes and things of that such. 10-15 minute Uber ride can get you to most attractions for those who don’t fancy walking too much. Clean, comfortable, a touch of class without being bougie! Nice place to stay and feel safe, yet reasonably priced. If undecided on what to eat, be adventurous and ask the bar staff for recommendations they won’t steer you wrong.
