"Pros: -Unbeatable view. Absolutely stunning.-Great bedrooms, lots of options. Clean and well maintained.-Good sized kitchen and living room.-Great dining table.-Wrap-around deck.-Peace and quiet in abundance.-Host responded very quickly to questions.Cons:-Outdated bathrooms. (One of them has a shower that resembles a firehose. Couldn't adjust it into anything workable.)-Vrbo never sent entry instructions so I had to badger the host for entry codes. (Unclear whose job the automated instructions are, having never used Vrbo before.)-No WiFi instructions left in house.-Hot tub was supposed to be serviced but was dirty. (Okay. Countryside. Bits in the water are fine. But the rim above the waterline was visibly very dirty. Clearly hadn't been properly cleaned in a MINUTE.)-Photos do not reflect the sheer amount of taxidermy in this place. The living room made us all sad because of the amount of death involved. (The Black Bear skin was ... so sad.)-Really old glue traps around the place. One was full of dead bugs. I am also not inclined to have to murder a mouse while I'm on vacation, should one get stuck. This is not pest control that is conducive to guests trying to relax.-More towels would have been nice, given the hot tub situation."

"The property was very clean. Although it appears to have been built for rental, it was serviceable. Supplies were basic but adequate.You should bring your own kitchen knives, with the supplied set it’s impossible to tell which is the cutting edge. Also bring a cutting board, the built-in one is plywood which is delaminating in places leaving voids where anything might culture although it didn’t appear anything yet had.Otherwise our biggest complaint was the constant whine and gurgle of the hot tub which, even though we didn’t use it, we were instructed to not shut it off. It’s not terribly loud with the sliding door closed but the few times it shuts off for a few minutes the silence is notable."
