Had to leave the property after my daughter had a life threatening allergy having mold in the room. Went to the hospital for a shot. Asked the manager for a full refund after.. you need to follow up also on that. Booked another room in downtown Monterey instead

I liked how the room had a fan inside. Also, the wall heater worked good since I got cold in the evening. I reside in hot weather so coming to Monterey was a change in temperature. Overall, i enjoyed my stay and loved the breakfast.

My overall stay was poor. After driving hours to get to Monterey, I was introduced with dead bugs, all over the wall in the bathroom, NO A/C but with a 1900’s wall mounted fan/heater and a dollar general floor fan. The carpet was dirty, and woke up to wonderful bites on my body that I did not have. To pay $200+ this is insane. Save your money book somewhere else please.

The area is ok but the hotel itself is old and I did not feel safe.When we arrived we found the other door facing the street unlocked and it won't lock properly.Also the bathroom tissue holder is rusty.Not worth the money.

Hotel is very nice. They offer a continental breakfast everyday. There is no air conditioning but they do give you a floor fan. Close to downtown and Cannery Row. Nice location.

To begin, the front desk gentleman was very friendly and accommodating, being that I called asking if it was possibleb to check in a an hour and a half earlier, since we arrived earlier than expected (1:45 instead of 3pm), without hesitation he said yes! The area was very nice and quiet, very clean and comfortable. The rooms are very spacious, comfy beds, BEAUTIFUL balcony view!

The airport is right around the corner in walking distance and there is a nice restaurant where you can watch planes come and go and enjoy the sunset. There weren’t any other dining options within walking but they have a sufficient breakfast at the hotel

Great room and stay

We had a great stay! The manager found out we wanted to get ready for our wedding there and upgraded us for a lovely King suite that had a fire place in it. It really made our first night as a newlyweds fantastic.
