Hotels on the Lake in Monroe from $97

"I stayed at the Grand Hyatt for two nights while in town for State Thespian. First the good: Staff are accomodating and friendly Valet system works efficiently Check in/out is a breeze Many resturants and shops nearby Bernie who served my friend and I who works at the bar is AMAZING. As I said, staff are fabulous. Beds and pillows are dreamy soft, clean and cozy. The bathroom is clean and gorgeous. Great water and tub. Now the needs work: I was in a hurry and on a schedule. First night I ordered room service dinner. I was starving after a long day. It didn't come and then I finally got a call the stoves wouldn't work. At breakfast the next day I tried again. It never came. I called and it had been misdelivered. Someone retrieved it and gave it to me cold with my drink warm. They did re make it and comp it, but it delayed me. I did manage to get dinner delivered successfully the next night. Mediocre food, so not worth the 50 dollars a pop, but ok. Fries are good. The burger at the bar is so much better. There is limited outlets so i had to pull out the coffee maker from a cupboard and plug it in and make it on the floor near the bed. They were resetting the television service yesterday so my down time when I wanted to watch a movie I couldn't. It was down for quite a while. There was a squeeking/whistling/rattling sound all night. Very obnoxious. Overall, not a bad stay. I wouldn't normally be so picky but it is not cheap to stay here. "

"Nice little boutique hotel within walking distance of the Seattle Convention Center (about 4-ish blocks away). The rooms are a bit small but clean and has all the essentials. "

"Our room was clean and comfortable. Breakfast area had plenty of seating. Food items included waffles, yogurt, dry cereal, bread items, coffee and several microwavable frozen items. Location is within walking distance to restaurants and the convention center. The only complaint is the "limited" parking. If you have a car there are about 10 parking spots and they sell out fast leaving you to look for street parking or a parking garage."
