Worst stay of my life. AC didn’t work, Fan and lights come on whenever they wanted to. Took a hour to check in with some random people. They don’t answer the phone so you have to go through hoops and fire to get to someone. Worst stay ever. Not even worth a dollar

The room has a beautiful view , very clean , the kitchen area has all the necessary utensils to cook. The hotel pool also has a great view . This reservation is from a private party and people will contact you. The beginning process was confusing as I waited at the lobby for a long time and the front desk cant help unless the contacts shownup. Still worth it,

The view of this place is the only reason why it’s not a one star review. The owner runs this property from a separate company from Canada. They were rude over the phone, poor communication and acted like we were a bother. They gave me three different contacts of who was suppose to help check me in at the property. When we were finally checked in and got to the room it was still dirty from the previous tenant(s). There were dirty towels everywhere, hair in the sink and shower, stuff in the toilet, bed sheets slept in, garbage still in the trash. I took video of it all. I called the owner and he sounded irritated over the phone and told me he would call me back in 5 minutes. 30 minutes passed with no contact. My partner and I had a long day of travel and a dinner reservation that was missed. I am the one to call the owner back and he told me the cleaners would come in 15 minutes. We waited 20-30 minutes for the cleaning lady and decided to start cleaning up ourselves. In the middle of cleaning, we finally had a knock on the door. The cleaning lady came in to finish the job and by the time she left it was already too late to make our dinner reservations since we still needed to wash up after our long day or travel and cleaning on our vacation. There were many people and the building’s elevators could not handle the usage. At one point it took 25 minutes to get in an elevator. Very disappointed with this property and with Expedia.

The communication and customer service was awful. First of all when we arrived, the hotel reception staff said they never had our booking so they had to go through and create a booking for us. On our last day the power cut out at around 10am, we contacted the number provided, which was to an external call centre who told us they to contact another number which was also an external contact centre. We spent around 10 hours without power being sent from one number to another - with no help or advice being provided. We called around 25 times throughout our wait. Wasted our last day of our trip waiting around to be called back or for someone to come out but no one did, then the power just switched back on its self at night with again no communication

Check in was quite chaotic. I spent an hour trying to check in. The contact information for the Host is incorrect I called the customer service information where they told me they could not help. After 5 different numbers i finally got in touch with someone that was able to help me. For an hour I felt like I might have gotten scammed. Finally getting into the suite I found that some of the lights did not work and there were no towels included with the stay. There is no hot tub even though there is one listed on the page. To use the pull there is an additional 50 dollar fee to access the amenities. The internet in the location was also somewhat troublesome to set up on the TV included at the stay. I definitely will be booking at another place next time I make a trip out to Miami.

The hotel staff of The Gale were understanding and pleasant. We had many communication issues with the host, initially being unable to make any contact at all and then the only forms were via the hotel.com app.
