Fun neighborhood, lots of places to eat and close to the beach. The office had beach toys and was very accommodating. The room was large, had a fridge and microwave. Air conditioning worked well and the room was cleaned every day. It was great to have free parking.

I don’t like to write negative reviews, as we understand that when traveling we set our expectations low for lodging and it’s all about exploring different places and enjoying the sites.. but this time, I simply felt the need to share.. We stayed a family of 4 for 3 nights. The room was super small with practically nothing in it. My only relief was that the beds and bathroom were clean . Everything else, very run down , musty smells, air conditioning noisy and upper floors air conditioners dripping making noise.. very noisy neighborhood across from bars and restaurants. Can hear all the guests every noise. Bathroom towels are old with stains . Everything just felt old and dirty.. We didn’t stay long in the room as we were out and about , but still for the price we paid , it was not worth it.. they can definitely do better! parking space was convenient and walkable distance to Venice and Santa Monica beaches. Very good, but pricy food options around ..

The Sea Shore Motel is in a great location in Santa Monica. It's so close to the fabulous beach and lots of nice restaurants and bars. The owner was very friendly welcoming. The junior suite had plenty of room for a family of four.
