Lovely hotel next to the beach and very close to the shops and restaurants. I felt very safe here. The 1st night we were given a room at the front of the hotel, which was noisy from cars racing along the street, but after raising this with reception we were given a new room which was slightly smaller but lovely. The gym was superb. We did hire a cabana at the pool - which i wouldn't recommend. The pool staff had no idea what was included in the cabana package and we were bought over a fruit basket that we hadn't asked for but were still charged for?! Also we were given a menu to order from the restaurant, but when we went to the restaurant we were advised they weren't serving that menu and food options were very limited, which was just a pain!! One other minor thing, we went to hire free bikes, filled in all the paperwork only to be told (after being stood around for half an hour) that there were no bikes available at this time! Decent hotel, would definitely recommend, but not an exceptional property. Top tip there is a multistorey car park very close by which costs a fraction of what the hotel charges

I loved this hotel and Santa Monica BUT….. inconsiderate guests with noisy kids, convention meet and greets and DJ on Fridays on patio did not give me the peace and quiet and sound of ocean with view I wanted from my balcony. Apart from that knowing in future I can’t wait to return.

It was our first experience at a 4-star hotel, and it couldn’t have been better! From the moment we arrived, and throughout our stay, it felt like we were in a completely different world—cozy, elegant, luxurious, and refined. Honestly, it felt just like us, if I may say so lol. The front desk and all the staff were incredibly attentive, always checking in to make sure we were having a great stay. One tip for anyone staying there: include breakfast in your package. The restaurant is excellent and the breakfast is amazing! Parking is paid, but I believe that for anyone who can afford to stay at a hotel like this, the extra cost for parking won’t be an issue. The hotel is very well located, and we barely used the car. There are plenty of nearby options for activities and restaurants. What we enjoyed most was riding bikes—and our tip is to rent those electric Veo bikes. The beach by the hotel is fantastic, and they offer beach chairs for guests. I wasn’t a big fan of the individual umbrella that attaches to the chair—I would’ve preferred a large Tommy Bahama-style umbrella available for guests. A solid 10 for the gym, which is essential for our daily routine. It has plenty of equipment and you can work all muscle groups. The pool is beautiful and overlooks the beach, though I do think it could be a bit larger considering the size of the hotel. Thank you to everyone for the memories we made there!
