Check in was great! Fast and efficient. Upon arrival to room, door didn’t open . Had to go to front desk . Door “run out of battery “ and had to be recharged. Fridge in room not working. Didn’t bother to go to front desk - as we were told hotel is completely booked and there are no other rooms . 😞

Hotels, located in an industrial type park area, it’s a little tricky to get into the lot. It’s kind of a semi strange area. We stayed at a Holiday Inn express in Lincoln a week ago, which was excellent across the highway. So we thought we’d try the Fairfield. It has slightly higher ratings and it was only $20 more than the prior location. The front desk girl that reads is very friendly and nice so kudos to her, overall we were disappointed with this hotel. The elevators were dirty with garbage on the floor of one of them, a room had a broken lamp, which was clearly broken prior, and no one had fixed it for some reason? There’s a blow dryer in the bathroom in a box which was odd, the room was on the second floor directly above the pool and outdoor seating area, so it was very noisy up until 10 o’clock. The hotel was not busy. We should’ve asked for a different room because of the noise. Also, you could hear a lot of noise in the hallway and the room above us footsteps throughout the night, which is disappointing. We travel a lot and stay a lot of different locations and this is the noisiest hotel by far we’ve stayed at. The bed and pillows are OK, and they appeared to have a nice workout exercise facility as well. The breakfast was OK, there was no juice available. It had an out of order sign on it. I’m assuming they could’ve run and picked up some juice to replace that out of order machine?Anyway, I would not stay there again, unfortunately pretty disappointed .

The hotel was new and staff was very nice, friendly and hospitable. We came in past midnight and my husband asked her if there was any milk for sale. They had an area where you can buy some beverages and snacks bur there was no milk. She went to dining area and found a small carton of milk. Decafe coffee was made in the lobby and was not empty. She found us a luggage cart.She was happy to help us and it showed. We felt welcomed. The hotel was practically new and the rooms were great. Beds were comfortable. Room was cool upon entering. The water pressure and temp of shower was great. Had small fridge and small microwave in room. I would stay here again. This hotel is also suppose to be pet friendly too.

On the whole, the Fairfield is clean, everything works, the staff is helpful, and the costs are reasonable. What is not so great is the area, which basically a zoo of various chain motels/hotels, and has very limited nighttime dining venues - if you like fast food and bar food, it's ok, but anything better than that will require a car and a drive of 3+ miles.
