The room was clean, but dates. It also had a musty smell to it. The breakfast definitely could be improved. The staff,however were very polite and nice. The woman handling the breakfast offered to keep the line open for a few minutes so my sister's boys could come get food.

Clean and fresh smelling

Ours was a one night stay, and it was great! If you are looking for up to date and a feeling of 'new' in the room - this isn't for you. BUT I will say that the new bed was awesome, water pressure in shower was awesome, carpets were clean and not stained, and everyone we interacted with was very nice and had smiles every time. The place did not smell of smoke or anything else bad in the halls. I can care less about new paint or new ceilings so for us, this was perfect! We would stay here again...in fact, if the event is where it was this year, we will be staying here again! :-)

Staff were great. It was extremely hot out the days we were there and the rooms were so humid things felt wet, but good breakfast and pet friendly. I’d stay again but maybe not in August.

We really liked this hotel b/c of the fitness center. Had what you needed. Liked the convenience to Robber's Cave, Capital, and Roller Skate Museum, and close to DQ and Culvers. What we did not like was the fact that Smoking and drinking were allowed in the pool area. NO Signs against it so NO way to enforce. Twice my family had to leave b/c of this situation and we were there first! NO support given by the guy at the front desk, simply stating" well we told them no".....big deal! ENFORCE the policies...Think of the liablity issues! Other than this: breakfast was good and had water for the guests....if you came in the winter with no pool this place would be great!! if family with kids avoid...which is a shame, the pool itself is very kid and parent friendly, it is just the atmosphere coming from the inconsiderate guests with no regard for anyone else that is the issue! Big signs about NO Alcoholic beverages and smoking vaping in the pool area would definitely helps support the policy and getting police enforcement would not hurt. Sorry, I was very upset about this, you DO NOT disappoint children!
