"we were looking to celebrate my fiancee's 30th birthday somewhere special after the tragic, unexpected loss of a loved one. and boy howdy did this place ever deliver. this property is massive: 5 bedrooms / 7 beds multiple pullout couches / futons, 2 full bathrooms, four seating areas including a huge veranda and enormous sunroom, and a kitchen / dinette spacious enough for multiple people to prep meals simultaneously. it was perfect for us as we had 7 people staying the weekend plus more guests dropping by during the day. more than enough room for everyone to hang out and craft, play games or just chill.we made extensive use of the gorgeous outdoor hot tub with adjacent seating area and very large riverfront — and private as the listing says, we never saw any neighbours. easy to find and only 7-10 mins from groceries and hiking trails.cabin was extremely clean, well-maintained, gorgeously decorated and well furnished. very good wifi, strong cell signal. 2 fridges, a coffee pot AND a Keurig, and every cooking utensil / dish we needed. balmy April day, we opened the many windows and had it the perfect temperature. Evan left us a nice welcome gift and was only a text away if we had questions but everything was clearly explained beforehand or in the notes / labels on-site. you must pack out your garbage / pay at the transfer station but we WERE notified of this ahead of time :)all in all a perfect stay which we are so grateful for given the circumstances!"

"Great 3 bedroom cabin, wonderful hot tub and sauna. Also enjoyed the fire pit. Short walk to the interesting Pinawa dam. Beautiful hikes along the rive4 trail surrounding Pinawa. Host was very customer service oriented. Called twice just to make sure we had everything we needed or just to see if we had any questions. The cabin was super clean, spotless. Would not hesitate to recommend or to repeat this trip next spring."

"We had a great time using this place as a weekend getaway. It was only an hour away but felt like we were on vacation. The hosts wrte extremely informative and responsive to communication. The home was cozy, comfortable, clean and inviting. We really loved the windows, especially at night with the clear skies. We would recomrnd yo anyone looking for a mini getaway, especially with Pinawa, and the Whiteshell at your doorstep! was cozy,comfiable, "

"The electric fireplace was on for our arrival - a lovely welcome! The door lock was a little finickety for both initial opening and final locking but after a few tries, it worked. Tho the space was not huge, it worked quite well for our family of six adults. We really enjoyed the hot tub, which was big enough for all of us!The place was actually a little better than online pictures show. I had to message the host to ask if there were window coverings, and there were! There is also a privacy fence between the hot tub and the neighboring property.The coffee maker was a very basic, old model and was full of grounds (but after we cleaned it, it made perfectly fine coffee). The worst part of our stay was the bedding, as the sheets were full of hair: long and short, dark hair. Since the vacuum was in our bedroom closet, my husband actually vacuumed our bed sheets the first night. Two of our adult kids checked the extra sheets in their room, and they were no better, so they just slept in their beds as they were. We had asked about bringing our dog, but since we don't actually have him in the house with us at home, we chose not to bring him. Disappointing that we still had to deal with either pet or human hair. Counter surfaces in kitchen and bathroom fixtures were clean.This was a great little cabin, and we were thrilled to have an ensuite in the master bedroom, which we were not expecting! We would recommend it to others (with honesty about what we experienced)."
