This hotel is an absolute dream in Kyoto. Reasonably priced and a huge bang for your buck. The rooms are comfortable and cozy without. being small. The service is exceptional at every turn. You're walkable to all the big must-see spots, without being in the heart of it to the point you can't relax. We had an amazing stay!

Excellent hotel in the heart of Kyoto. 9 restaurants and a health food market downstairs. Beautiful amenities, and the room we’ve stayed in was absolutely beautiful and comfortable. The Concierge was always top-notch helpful. The access to the VIP lounge daily was a bonus. I’ve gotten an amazing massage from the spa. Highly recommend. 10 out of 10.

Great hotel. Good location. Appreciated ground floor food shop and great restaurant choices. Only negative thing to say is traffic noise. We were on fifth floor, room on side of building and could hear constant beeping from zebra crossing. That said would definitely stay at this hotel again

Quiet hotel centrally located. Train station is one block away, staff speak English, eco-friendly, very large rooms that offer separate tub and shower, restaurants on site, and connected to a department store.

Excellent hotel, great location. They should make the reservation refundable, as that is my only complaint. I think less people book because of the lack of flexibility, and they wouldn’t refund me for 1 night stay because of an error in booking, even with months of notice.

Good Stay

Hotel very nice. Rooms very spatious. No complaints with the room other than our A/C wasn't working properly - but quickly attended too when raised. They need to make more of the reception......Great space, soft seating etc. But you can't get a coffee or alcoholic drink and relax there, either early moring or after a long day site-seeing! Maybe a joint venture with the restaurant with a roving waiter?? Coffee machine alongside the water machine would be a nice touch.... somewhere other than your room to socialise! Nice tie up with the boutiques and restaurants on the other floors. All have a quality feel. Ate in the Italian and Posh cafe on the 3rd floor. Both very nice. Menu was reduced in the Italian on the evening when we ate there which was disappointing. Bed was very comfortable. Some road noise if your room is road side in the hotel. These are all general comments though and the hotel is good quality, modern, clean and sustainable in its approach. Would stay again.

My stay at the Good Mature hotel was great and I recommend it. The room was clean and comfortable. The best part of staying here is the restaurant choice on site and the market. Two things that could use improvement however- the shower needs to be vented/aired out and the amount of EMF and light pollution could be reduced (not really any worse than most hotels). I love the black out shades, tasteful and effective.

Excellent option to stay in Kyoto. Right in the centre of the shopping and eating district. A lot of amazing restaurants and coffee shops nearby. Amazing staff at the hotel. The staff was extremely helpful.
