The rooms are dated which does not concern me as long as they are clean and comfortable. The room had a musky smell and the Queen Bed (?) felt more like a double. Do not book a single queen room, as you will not be able to get out the window side of the bed. The space between the bed and the window was less than 4 inches, and there was an electric heater on the floor. My wife had to sleep on the pull-out couch bed which was uncomfortable and smelled. The washroom shower was excellent with hot water. The toilet on the other hand you and to use side saddle as the clearance between the wall and the toilet was less then 3 inches. The staff was very good, especially the lady that was there in the morning and afternoon. Would I repeat, probably not, as there is a couple of newer hotels built that offer better value for the price.
Had to use the toilet side saddle, no more than 3 inches clearance between the wall and the toilet.
Queen size be (??), again if you slept on the right side you could not get out as there was no clearance between the bed and the wall. There was also a baseboard heater on the floor by the left hand side window.

A Good place to stay

The service and staff we encountered were very helpful and friendly. The room itself was large and clean, except for a few dust bunnies and cobwebs around the lamp shades. Great shower with a lot of pressure and hot water. the pool was a welcomed additional after a long day of touring. Only suggestions we have is install a full size toilet in the bathroom. The one we had has got to be the smallest toilet we have ever seen in a hotel. For safety reasons, especially for your senior guests, like us, please install a proper step from your lobby entrance to the pool area. It's quite a large drop. Otherwise we had a great stay and will return.

The hotel was okay. The door didn't close properly. There was a big crack above the door and the door opener was in the wrong place. It would be environmentally friendly to have shampoo, conditioner and soap on the wall in the bathtub instead of samples. It would also be nice to have 2 nightstands instead of 1.

ROOM 102

The staff was wonderful the room was very clean, unfortunately the air conditioner was so noisy we were not able to sleep. I would go back to that hotel if they replaced the air conditioner. This seem to be a very old hotel that has been refurbished but as I mentioned the AC was old and noisey and the patio door did not have a lock. we were in Room 102.

The windows were filthy. I had to ask them to clean it. A lot of spiders in the room. Bathroom was so tiny. You hit your elbow when wiping. The heater was FULL of dust. Hot breakfast is pancakes. Breakfast is a continental breakfast. They didn't have yougurt. The good part of this was I had a room next to the pool.

Nice staff, fun pool. Room was just okay. The Air conditioner was really dirty, as was the window. The shower had some mold. The sheets were inside out with a mattress pad beneath that barely covered the bed.

There are no mats or anti slip strips in the tub/showers.. apparently they are a bother. Well as I can attest with the severity of my injuries, proper warning and proper anti slip strips or mats would be a good thing Thanks for the ruined vacation.
