This place is very unique! I loved the colorful cottages right on the beach! The historical site took me back to the 70s! The bed was really comfortable and the room was clean. Walking distance to many restaurants.Also, enjoyed the free kayak/paddle boards for paddling around the bay!

A guest had to scoop out some of the leaves because no one was doing it. Air conditioner was noisy and loud and too cold. They are in the process of remodelling the rooms but we were not so lucky to get the Redone rooms. Toilet was unstable. Showerhead on its last legs We just felt “icky” the whole time we were at the resort. Save your money. Go somewhere else. "

"The property was nice but a little dated. Very laid back, no one in a rush to do anything or go anywhere. We had the 2 bedroom suite which was very spacious and wonderful for travelling with older kids. Balcony was huge. Kitchen fully stocked. Anything we needed we simply texted the front desk and it was brought rather quickly. I thought it was expensive but worth it to be able to cook your own meals as most restaurants were overpriced with mediocre food. To be honest it looked like hotel was once a motel, opal came in and tried to fancy it up and improve things but it wasn't the 4 star experience it was trying to be. What I did like was the abundance of towels and lounge chairs. No need to race down to grab a spot. Kids loved snorkeling in the beach. "
