The rooms were a little tired but the rest of the hotel was magnificent. The location is perfect, try and get a room facing the Ferris wheel as night time is very pretty. ホテルは綺麗で清潔、朝食も種類豊富で味が濃くなく、美味しかったです。ただ、値段上仕方ありませんが、部屋は狭く、かつ、ユニットバスルームに臭いがあったのが減点でしょうか。それでも、値段を考えれば十分満足でした。

Villa Fontaine Kobe - Sannomiya
The rooms were a good size and even had a couch to sit on in them. The bathroom was small but clean and sufficient. The staff was friendly and helpful. The hotel was close to food spots and the train station. It was a good location and would stay again if in Kobe.

Himeji Station Universal Hotel South Exit
Should be one of the cheapest hotels in Himeji area. Meals are provided but I felt like they're worse than in jail (I've never been to jail, though). If you're looking for budgetary hotel, this is the right place.
