Room was OK. Please be aware that European plugs won’t work in this room and you’ll need a Swiss charger - the hotel only leant us one and I had to go out and buy another. The front desk staff weren’t that friendly to be honest but also weren’t rude, so it’s fine. They had free tea at reception which was nice for my mum but would be ideal to have this in the rooms to save the trip downstairs in the mornings. The location is fantastic as it’s a short walk away from the station and in a lovely safe cute area. The beds were quite uncomfortable but nothing that unbearable.

Room was just average. Very little space on one side - my preferred sleeping side. No tea or coffee machine and starting to look a little tired. Reception staff were very helpful on arrival and resolved an issue as room only had Swiss plug sockets and I was unable to use my europlug adaptors. Location is good being just a 5 minute walk from Interlaken West station and fine for getting to the most likely places a traveller would use.

So if I was to judge the first room we were supposed to stay in it was awful! Though cute, the room smelled like a used litter box and unbreathable. I told the front desk and they said they'd send a maid to fix the issue while we went out. Came back, front desk said the problem was fixed and was because the room had been empty for a couple nights. Mmmm. No. Went to room, still reeked.

The room was clean and comfortable. There was no AC but you could open the windows which was nice in the evenings. The staff were very nice. There are dining options onsite and just behind the hotel in a courtyard. It was a nice walk to Interlaken train stain and a shorter walk to Interlaken West.

Our one-night stay was comfortable and good value. Staff are very friendly and happily answered all our questions and requests. Breakfast buffet is comprehensive and in a lovely space; good wi-fi; very convenient location near Interlaken West station.

Great location near the train station and near plenty of shopping. Staff was gracious enough to upgrade our room. Only thing was the paint was peeling in the shower. Other than that, nice hotel to stay in.

The Guesthouse is utilitarian but offered all the essentials. We had no problems with the bath facilities. And it was not hot so the lack of A/C was not a problem. It was expensive but it was also the cheapest available when we booked. Also we heard nothing from the other rooms. I recommend but would urge them to offer two pillows per person.

Entered the room to find out the sink was not passing water. A person came to fix it and removed the sink button and did some temperate fix. Totally pathetic experience. Wasted 2 hours. In terms of daily room cleaning, no bedsheet changes just folding the blanket. Even the stains on the bedhsheet remained as is.
