Also, this is "Alaska: The Last Frontier" country as the Kilchers homestead is in the Fritz Creek area only a few miles from The Husky Ranch! There is a State Parks hiking trail within a half mile of the ranch or just enjoy your run the place! Wildflowers galore! The house is 1400sq ft. and sleeps 4 in 2 queen beds; more possible! Wi-Fi, DISH TV, all amenities! Early in the season is referred to as 'break-up' and spring is still waking up but come mid June, watch out, the cranes land in the fields and moose frequently cruise through the yard!
