We've stayed at Best Western Chocolate many times over the year. It is our "default" hotel for Halifax. Obviously we're happy with just about everything. This was the first time we had a problem. The plug in our bathroom sink jammed and we were unable to use the sink. This was on our last morning and we were unable to have it fixed before we left. Unfortunate but it made getting ready difficult.

- This hotel was truly amazing, the rooms and surrounding areas were clean. - The location was superb. There is a lake for leisure at the back as well as shopping mall and restaurants in walking distance including the one in the building itself. - The building comes with its own amenities that made it fun stay in on a rainy day. - The staff was available to answer questions and provide what was asked of them. - Breakfast was amazing with variations and rotation of items.

Great location in Halifax. Clean and nice layout. Was disappointed that I requested and paid for a lake view but got a main floor room with a noisy parking right outside the window next to the bed. When I mentioned it to staff, all they said was we’ll look into it.
