"Were were not in the room other than to sleep. The bed was reasonably comfortable but the pillows were small and not great. the exhaust fan in the bathroom made a noise after running for just a few minutes. Other than those few items it was as expected and served as needed for our visit."

"We stayed at the BW State Fair Inn in Sedalia after my first day on a through ride on the Katy Trail.
The hotel was an old style "doors-on-the-outside" hotel circa the 1970s and no elevator to the second floor. However, the experience there was very good. The staff was very efficient and friendly upon check in. The rooms were spotless, the water hot and the beds very clean and comfortable.
The breakfast the next day was excellent. Real, organic scrambled eggs rather than the powdered eggs you get from some of the other hotel chains. We ended up making breakfast tacos with the eggs and leftover fajitas in the microwave which were delicious.
The hotel was only a couple of minutes from the Fairgrounds trailhead which was very convenient. "
