"The Club House was our first stay during our trip, and it was a fantastic start! The building itself is so full of charm and history, and the location is a perfect home base to explore Kilkenny. The staff were lovely, and I thoroughly enjoyed the various decor and historical bits throughout the hotel. We had dinner at the restaurant, and it was very good. The service was also exceptional. Overall it felt as though the Club House offered excepetional value for the price, and would highly recommend it to those who are not seeking modern luxury; if you’re looking for something that honours the history it’s a part of wilst also being wildly convenient, this is it. "
