We stayed in the motel room #2 & it was all clean, quiet, so beautiful at night with the lights all lit up. Easy access to town & RMNP! I think next time we will book sooner so we can snag a cabin with a private hot tub just because that sounds so wonderful. The playground was perfect for our little one & what an amazing backdrop of scenery while our little one played. Sound of the river was so nice as well. Tons of turkeys on site during our stay which we got a kick out of! We would love to come back and would highly recommend castle mountain lodge to anyone looking for a place to stay in Estes!

Absolutely loved this place. We will definitely be returning again. We felt like we were at home. The place is equipped with everything you need, if you decide to cook your own meals. Having a supermarket down the road to pick up food was a plus. The trolley to take you into town goes by every 20 min or so. The property itself has beautiful sitting areas and you are in walking distance to a couple of restaurants. You would not be disappointed.

This was a good place for us to stay while adventuring around Estes Park. It was wonderfully convenient as it is close to the downtown area and close to Rocky Mountain National Park. The staff is very kind! The only mild complaint was the room was warm, despite fans being provided. All in all, we are pleased with our stay!

Castle Mountain Lodge Stay

This stay was unforgettable due to location and frequent animal sightings. The area along river was an attraction in itself. The only negative was no having climate controlled room (AC). It would have been less noticeable if the cabins were designed to let heat out of room with windows properly placed at top to let airflow cool room. All and all we loved the placed and would return again.

Castle Mountain Lodge is a beautiful place to stay when visiting Estes Park/RMNP. It is situated right off a two lane highway but is very peaceful. The accommodations are well appointed and the staff is very friendly. They also offer free cookies in the lobby which was a nice treat. We stayed in a studio lodge and it was very comfortable. We would definitely recommend this place to others and would stay here again the next time we are in Estes Park.

We stayed in the Great Room and the unit itself was great. We would not return, however. There is no phone service and terrible WiFi so we had to drive to town to make calls and watching a movie was spotty. The place is loud. While sitting in the hot tub, we could hear the neighbors tv blaring and we were woken up early every morning by different things. It is a good family place, but don’t recommend for a couple looking for quiet.
