Busy motel at the door of WEM

Busy place just outside the West Edmonton Mall. There was one reception person handling all check-ins. I was not informed about deposit taken straight from credit card. Relatively good breakfast. Not hotel's fault, but we had loud next door guests, spoiling our good night sleep.

Clean, comfortable. Wifi is the mall network which doesn't work in hotel even on the first floor right beside the lobby. Breakfast in a tiny room - too small to accommodate guests (maybe 5 tables total?) without any hot options or baked goods. Very minimal options - Toast with white bread only, pancake maker and yogurt. One communale microwave on third floor. One single elevator for entire hotel - super slow. Not enough parking for all guests - forced to do $10 paid underground parking

It is clean, but kind of old. It is ok for me just for one night short stay. The breakfast area is small, not much seats. But can take to room to eat.

Very poor customer service. Front desk staff not friendly. Only 1 staff at the desk. Not enough parking. Overflow parking only until 11pm with $10 parking fee in the basement. No 50% discount swimming in the mall contradictory to ad if booked with Expedia. No microwave. No hand soap. The only reason I booked here is close to the mall but there are lots of hotels nearby. Not recommending and not coming back.

Overall it was fine, the breakfast was terrible. Only like 6 tables for the entire hotel and very limited options. There was mold in the shower and overall it was pretty run down but wasn’t the worst place I stayed. Just wouldn’t be my first choice next time

Convenient and clean

Hotel is great, staff is great, parking is not so great. You can pay ($10 or $15 - I forget) for underground parking which IS great, but if you don’t want to pay extra make sure you are there early as space is limited in their street level lot.

Great place in reguards to being so close to Weat Edmonton Mall. The only downfalls is there ia only 1 ice machine on the 3rd floor, 1 microwave to reheat food on the 3rd floor. Breakfast is basic but not bad for a free breakfast also on the 3rd floor so that is the floor to stay on for us. Beds are hard but the pillows helped make up for that. Lots of fluffy pillows. Staff was super friendly. Overall great value fornthe price and proximity to the mall.
