Caution when booking with Contigo properties. If any issues should come up you will be met with the owner of the company speaking extremely rudely in a downward manner to female guests.Enough that he put it in writing to apologize for his tone to our family, shortly after our conversation.The apartment does not have any cooling systems in place and they are aware that the apartment gets very warm. They will tell you to open the windows but there are no screens on the windows so mosquitos are able to get in.We arrived and the apartment was 27 degrees inside and did not cool throughout the evening. My daughter became very ill from the heat and got sick.In speaking with the owner he yelled at me on the phone and told me I was telling him how to run his business as I said the the thermostat could have been set to have the fan running to help with air circulation and not turned off when we arrived.We spent 1 night and the next day there. We had originally booked three nights but after my daughter got sick I asked to please be refunded for one night as we needed to get a hotel room as it was not safe for her to stay. He again berated my as a women in a downward tone and told me how much of a good business person he was.He showed no empathy for our child throwing up and becoming very ill.The property is very small, they are aware that it becomes very warm upstairs and do not to anything to mitigate this. They also do not provide enough amenities such as towels.
