All the staff was extremely helpful and plesant.

Pros: Close restaurants, Free Internet, Quiet
We were pleased with the staff and room in the hotel. The main thing lacking was the cleanliness of the room. Move the sofa and chair from their usual spot and you'll find interesting stash as well as dirt. There was black hair in the tub. The food and service in the restraunt was excellent.

Like the Hotel but noisy adjoining room

I really like the hotel overall but we had a room that had an adjoining door and the occupants next to us were yelling and screaming all night long. The only other problem is that the wifi only worked in a small corner of the room. Other than that the room was clean and the front desk people were friendly.

Would Stay Again

Stayed two nights here and enjoyed it. We stayed in the jacuzzi suite. Room was large and very clean. Bathroom is large with more then enough counter space. Staff was friendly and the location downtown was perfect. My only complaint was the inner walls allowed allot of noise. I could hear the room next to us snoring!!. The exterior walls were thick and did not allow much noise from the city. The security is excellent and even requires you have a room key to access the floors and elevator. Wi-fi. Parking was a bit much at $* per night, but I'm used to a small town, so maybe that is normal in the city. Overall, I would stay here again.

Better Choices in Downtown

We are a family of 3 spending a weekend in Edmonton. The front desk service is excellent. We don't like the view down to the interior shopping mall from our room. The room is very dark because there is no exterior window; therefore, no natural light from the outside. Don't use valet parking. It's expensive. The parking. You have to park at the adjacent public parking garage for a fee. We've stayed at The Coast Hotel and Sutton Place before. It's much better in terms of the value. Unless you don't have a car or need the proximity to downtown and direct access to shopping mall, I would recommend other hotels in the area.

Beyond Expectations

I came across this hotel while searching the internet because our regular hotel. This is now going to be our regular hotel on our trips to Edmonton! Rooms were big and clean. We had 2 queens that were extremely comfortable and a pull out in the livingroom. Great for my wife & I and our 3 kids. Good gym; close to shopping & foodcourts. LRT is minutes away. And all for $* per night!!! If you want peace and quiet after the kids go to bed in a clean room at a great price, this is the place to be. We'll be back again and again!

Not for families

The hotel is not for families or single women. The hotel was built in mall space which means most rooms are a very long walk from the elevator.I was approached by a gruff man in front of the business centre asking for money. The hallway from the parking garage to the hotel smelled like urine.I won't be staying there again.

Great Hotel, Excellent Staff

Would have given this hotel a 5 stars as the staff and the location was excellent but the only problem were all of the bums that hangs out around the hotel. This is probably a problem of the Edmonton City Centre Mall's and not Delta hotel's fault but because the hotel is situated within the mall, we were constantly harassed for money. When we didn't give them anything they became rude and started scream obscenities towards us.

A good place to spend one night

Pros: Close restaurants, Free Internet
We just spent one night there, in the middle of a long driving. The room was extremely large, even larger than our apartment in Saskatoon. But the hotel is quite old, so you should not anticipate something very fancy. The room had a hot tub but it was very dirty, we were not really tempted to use it. By the way, you should pay for parking, the thing that we escaped from by parking on the street. The receptionists were very friendly and the check in time and negotiations to defer the check out were quite fast. The hotel as you may have noticed is in a mall, so you may goof around in the mall when you are free. In general, if you could not find something cheaper with this quality, why not, spend a night there.
